Dawn, and Fresh Starts

Do not trust me like a horse trusts its hooves.
For moles unlike birds understand underground moves.
Lingering longer beneath lost light;
I am an owl that sees only at night.
Big eyes wandering in the thick darkness,
Each breath is a sign of my controlled madness.
Just another wolf laughing at it’s prey.
When the howl comes all one can do is pray.
This fear steals/stills your heart like a sculpture.
This pain becomes not an unhappy culture.
Scavenging hungrily in a food feast.
Life passing away slowly to the beast.
Tying a wrapper of thorns that tear in one’s flesh.
“Dawn! Come please, for I wish to start this story afresh”
