Barricades and Fences
Most times all we need is not the walls,
That speaks what we are afraid to see ,
Raining suspicions and judgmental smiles;
That calls a spade a shovel.
The spikes at the top of it is another question .
My brother has a thing for things that pierce ;
Like words, looks, needles and men of course ,
But he doesn’t get this,
I am scared to admit same for you and i .
So, you on the other side of our fence may never see or feel ;
The sun on my rubble before the rains;
The love that flows, slow, beautiful like the ganges
Singing of freedom in times of war ,
Nor the finesse I use to put to rest my adversaries.
I am certain I breathe the same way too.
Most times all we need is not the walls ;
The spikes at the top of it is another question .

Leon once wrote “the walls we build to keep us in will put us out as well”
That alone dishes out “rethink”
And of course you can taste the truth if you are honest ;
Honey is sweet but truth is a fine Bitter .
We can strike an unimaginable balance,
That loves for the sake of love,
That chooses it’s struggle ,
That knows knows expectations ruins a lot but goes on expecting;
” tear down those walls and make bridges instead ”
What have we to loose?
I too have thought it well and i dare to say;
And as Leon once wrote “the walls we build to keep us in will eventually put us out as well”
