WAITING ROOM THOUGHTS

While we wait
We sit looking at empty chairs
Hoping they’d be filled with other waiters too
I know people don’t like to be alone
Especially at uninteresting things

While we wait
My mind wanders
And thinks what if ghosts are filling up these spaces
What if this place meant the same thing in their realm
Or they just like to fill empty spaces

While we wait
I begin to Fidget
I’m cold, bored and sleepy
Thinking when will this man come
I’m getting tired of waiting

While we wait
The mind travels
And tries to see what things would be like if we made other decisions
Or if we would be waiting right now if we made other choices
I really do hope who I’m waiting for is worth the wait
