Pick A Die From The Dice

STILL I SING.

Still I sing
Of that time in the past
When education educated
And our inward man was beautifully built
Bringing out the king and not the beast in us

Still I sing
Of that time in the past
When Fulani maids
Served us fura da nono
And when you wanted an example of beauty
Their image readily made the picture

Still I sing
Of that time in the past
When Fulani herdsmen carried sticks
Secretive and knowing smiles
Now they carry guns and bullets
Wiping out our nation of Innocent children, husbands and helpless mothers

Still I sing
Of a future I see
When the God of the oppressed shall arise
And the children of the sun will arise with Him
With power and a new song on their lips
A triumphant dance
Bruising the heads of the enemy
Still I sing
I sing
