For What It’s Worth

I really do not care
About the behaviour of the sun.
Store your water in a basket.
It’s cold enough to wish for breeze.
There’s something about the horse and the river.
Who’s thirsty would always drink.

If you opt to buy a drink,
I still wouldn’t care.
You can choose to drown in a river
Or face the wrath of the sun.
I’ll settle for the swoosh of the friendly breeze,
And ignore your water basket.

If I have to use a basket,
It won’t be to store my drink.
I’ll allow the caress from the breeze,
Preserve what is left of care.
I’ll give you your part of the sun,
Just don’t put it in the river.
