In The Middle Of A Dream

Seated under a beautiful tree,
seated next to this pretty queen,
birds singing melodious songs,
perfect tune for a romantic talk,
a rose is needed to spark this toast,
today will be filled with fun.

I’ve never had this much fun,
kissing a queen under the tree,
to the birds, I was the hottest toast,
all appreciated the sight of the queen,
after kissing, we still didn’t talk,
we were rather humming to the songs.

The birds were no more singing any song,
there was no more feeling of fun,
I could now hear other humans talk,
no more shade from the tree,
nowhere to be found went the queen,
my beautiful fantasy is completely toast.
