Dear son,

Your feet tiny as a seahorse,
Your eyes, shiny like stars.
My palm, comfortable enough to fit you.
Thinking of you, feels like i’ve known you
Since BC.

Together, we would smile at cameras,
One thing you should never forget,
Live your life how you want to,
Pursue your goals with all your strength.

I might not be with you all the days of your life,
But, like octopus in water,
As long as i breathe, my grip will never fail.

My life, i carve carefully,
But life is full of accidents.
My shadow will cover you like a shade,
But you should stay far from it,
For life is an individual race.
Learn from my scars, and carve your greatness.
