The Sound of Silence

This feeling is of a dumb thunder,
trying to light a hollow room.
Its drum beats more than any mother.

Such tears wake sleep to ponder
while it relates to doom.
This feeling is of a dumb thunder

It knows the trap of a hunter
and care less about a bride or groom.
Its drum beats more than any mother.

The grumble can cause sound to blunder
whether alive or in a tomb.
This feeling is of a dumb thunder

This scene has no imaginary number
even the blind sees its perfume.
Its drum beats more than any mother.

This sound of silence is what I call hunger,
it once killed a king in a ballroom.
This feeling is of a dumb thunder,
Its drum beats more than any mother.
