This Is Not Our War

This is not our war, for we have no weapons
I mean, this shouldn’t be a war.
Two nations rising against one, and we call it peace keeping.
Some of us call it “defending our interest”.
What exactly is our interest?
Destroying lives and burning properties?
Let’s be considerate, and let’s be factual;
We do not need wars, and bloodshed,
We do need to focus on feeding Africa,
Educating the Middle East, appeasing the Japanese.
We do not need soldiers, and nuclear weapons,
We do need educated teachers, and proper class rooms.
We do not need killing one another for the sake of religion,
We do need to go about preaching and teaching love,
Nothing but absolute love.
We call it warfare, but war is not fair.
