Poetry: The Norm In Abnormal.
Lit the Light, lit the light
How long do we walk in darkness
With our blind sight?
Holding unto our staff to lead us
Through this starless night.
We have blindfolds on our minds.
We do not know our route,
Neither can we retrace our root.
We’re lost in the wilderness
Where is Moses to lead us out of this blind heresy?
Egypt is too far to return
The promised land is far adjourned.
We’re blind and our eyes only see thick gloom
Should we court life or marry the tomb?
Cos this darkness carries blazing fumes
Burning our minds and hearts with unquenchable doom.
We will stay here till the light hears our yell.
Then it would be a beautiful story to tell.
