Poetry: The Norm In Abnormal.

Everyone’ makes it seem easy,
Our lives have adjusted to the darkness.
The light has lost its fluorescence.
If everyone does it, so can you.
What if we all get dragged into the pits?
Tragedies have more views and yet less care.
We walk with our feet up and heads sunk low.
The death tolls don’t amount to much.
Our tears rolled out to jokes.
A good deed is not good enough if a lense does not capture.
We’ve filled our bellies with worms just to watch it rupture.
Costumes fly during the day, hiding who we are.
Truth now lies in dark corners, too lazy to fight for the right.
