Fires spark in the day and night
Whenever they mate while moaning.
Some sparks send messages of love
with other feelings that follow

be it as the sun or the moon
fires spark in the day and Night,
gushing forth between noons’ and dark
telling stories time cannot tell.

Some flames become the ground and die
leaving ashes as memories.
Fires spark in the day and night
despite the wood we have become

some start as timber then plywood,
becoming doors for light and dark
opening the world to see thatー

Those things they cover from the light
Are like sparks of darkness smitten.

Some days we send forth pale signals
Fires spark in the night and day
Some nights ignite our love crystals
And maybe lonely lurks away

When we scratch to enjoy the itch
The pores we open fail to stitch

And so do tempers that take flight.
