pour out half of the glass
of the spirit to the spirit.
inhale, do the puff puff pass
then wait to see rainbows
in the mid of the night.
then wait to see the dark
in the mid of the light.
forget it all for a moment,
see visions with your
bloodshot eyes.
we elevate,
with wobbly feet we rise
to do the dance,
to chant mystic lines.
we fall down, knees first
at the feet of the spirit.
we take a sip of the spirit
till we’re filled with the spirit
