I’m from the happiest state in Nigeria: Ipinle omiluabi – the land of virtue

I’m from Ara (Egbedore LG)

I’m Yoruba by tribe and dialect

My people are mostly literate, travellers, bilinguals, family-oriented and farmers.

The religious beliefs are Christianity, Islam & the Alami traditional worshippers.

Rearing dogs is taboo – “Mobo Oosa Alara (the point where the last dog reared in Ara land turned into a rock).

The King is called Alara of Ara land

Almost every family in my village has a family member in Abidjan, Ivory Coast

There’s no family in my village that doesn’t have at least one literate in their family (up to OND, at least)
