Verse free

Today again,
Tomorrow again,
Every day, again, this is the morning drive
To awake and be high on the past
Hungover on clips that cannot hold any more
Today again, there is rust in my chest
The saving oil is what I cry away at night
Tomorrow again, the map my body left
From dwelling on the future has faded
Every day is another day to worry,
to escape, to give anxiety a home.
My home is empty, echoing what I should become
How else do you shut out your voice unheard
This is how we fade, we first become beautiful
And then question the bloom.
Today again
We shed old skin and thrive.
