Dear Diary

last week, I attended a meeting
that poked my thoughts & asked
the questions I find answers for
which is if what I say is the truth,
if it’s fair to all; if it brings goodwill
and if it’s beneficial to everyone.
I remembered the services then,
the visits, the songs, I remember
wanting to wear a Paul Harris pin.
I met a woman – melanin, beauty.
