Ola Poetry: African Proverbs

It is little by little that the pigs nose enters the vineyard.

Characters are learnt
Manners are formed
The journey of a thousand miles
Begins with a step
Either in the right way
Or in the wrong direction
A sniff
A smoke
A sip
Repeatedly
And you become.
Unlike some acts
That just once is enough
And a pregnancy is your gift.
