and that’s how the story begun
to weave its end before the body formed
the sun doesn’t bother
to introduce itself, it’s strictly business
to make sense makes no sense
so these men put on ‘proknose’
to mislead traffic, corner the masses
until when before we drag ourselves
I mean, we the gullible
believing. trusting. listening. bidding.
the owner should not allow the swindler
ninety-nine days to cause havoc
united, we have not stood still
dropping points upon points
no action, no change
just the same old story on every new day.
