a coalition of water bodies
leads a flowing river to a
still pond. the rough fetcher.
the calm and troubled swim.
give me water to drink. cook.
pour me dirt from the shores.
I am the dumb frog that can’t jump.
the spoken word that needs a chain.
she is the flowing water that burns.
he is the still water that flows.
I am the bank that withdraws.
