everything that I wanted,
I got in two folds and more,
I was God’s favorite son,
I was the earth’s most-loved,
to friends, I was a gift,
to torn hopes, I gave a lift,
I was my motivation to fail,
I was my fear not to succeed.

to a year that I’m not asking,

and continue the journey of
building my Rome, to be home.
