Crime or Grime

how do you measure what a man
carries within the safe locked
in his chest? un-do-able.
we can speculate even, presume,
judge another
based on how much we know.
i could right a thousand truth
and they’d never be right
society is an organized chaos
there are too many lines,
too many light, too thin to note
there’s more that doesn’t meet the eyes
if anything would break the ice,
it would be to grab a jacket
and enjoy the show.
