Ten more than a country

tiny bricks put together may build
a barn in the middle of the field
for meat and hide
to communities wide.
dust cleaned off the shelf
may make clear the reflection of self
to keep pure and clean
the minds of every human being.
grains stored because of tomorrow
may prevent the visit of sorrow
so we lead the flock
take turns and take time to increase the stock.
we’d leave our doors unlocked
our roads unblocked.
no short hands, no short cuts
maybe dwarf tempers now and then.
and that
might just be a habitat.
