their faces showed something was wrong,
“after death, humans perish, yeah?
so why are we rising again?
did those books truly mean something?”

they tried shouting out, it was late,
they tried making friends, it was late,
they tried reading books, it was late,
they tried having faith, it was late,

they saw ‘believers’ heading to
hell, so they knew theirs too was doom.
