knock thy knees to the ground
break thy back into a flat face
Untie, all over thy body,
knotted shoe laces.

watch out for the clouds
deep breaths bring deep peace
allow the rain to soothe thy soul.
there’s not a day without drama.

suspicious. agree. disagree.
accept defeat, it’s the only victory
they are never ending,
the pestilence set before thee.

heavy is the crown that sits on a head
but not all of us are royalty
no matter how hard we try,
we’ll never unsettle for extremes.
