Time and aging

Growing up, fat girls were the beautiful ones.
Now that I’m old, thin girls are the pretty ones.
Time favours who she wants
Not considering what you want
While we all move on in time and space.

They say time waits for no one
That I think is impatience and rather unkind
Consider the aged
Who can’t move backwards or forward
Rather go sideways like the crab
