Why is that?

to be worthy of being called friend,
one doesn’t always have to listen,
bury bodies or weak fake smiles,
by arguing, we learn how to love.

to be worthy of being called friend,
an axe should not chop off branches
that may cause emotions to wither
and cause trust to suffer from empathy.

to be worthy of being called friend,
words should not be said to appease
people at detriment of one whom one
expects to refer to them as friend, right?
