Why is that?

Our laughter brings tears
And our faith comes with fears
Because we only live to die
We live to not be alive.
Life on earth be not forever
Could death be our happy ever after?
Though death be, rest in peace, sleep in bliss
and life dash us to ground, leaves us in piece
We yet wish to live forever
And never die once
Abused lovers, blinded by pleasures
Pleasures that brings pain. But why?
