An elephant and a rat

why would a rat attack an elephant
is it not afraid of might?
what point would it prove?
an elephant that kills a rat
isn’t trying to be a hero
the forest knows more
the trees and grass know better
one little insignificant animal
would not hurt the jungle’s census.
