What i might compare to a burning library

there were days when the sun turned blue
and the heat still burnt like fire.
burn! burn the world without a guide!
burn! burn what takes the men away young!

everything happens.
any of these things can happen
the elderly can die.
the library can burn.
the elderly can survive.
and the library wouldn’t be built.
