Green Fields

If a school has no fence,
is that an offence
that should warrant
the trauma of unfaithful hope,
the thirst that water can’t quench?

if the government is busy
working effortlessly to
‘lose some to save others,’
should that warrant
citizens extorting each other?

what would happen
if this field remains green,
instead of being mean?
which page of tolerance’s story
was written or did we read wrongly?
