Synonyms of me

love is a synonym for hate
and that’s the thin line
so, we can be happy, sadly so,
hate how you love a person
but cannot love that hate.
that’s love and all its nonsense.
it is sometimes fate
on which it all depends.
it is sometimes taste
the bitter after a heartbreak
it is sometimes a waste
unrequited or quite so
and like a fire that dies slow
it loses glow, sadly so
no better synonym to show.
