If we must die, we fight!

If her eyes have to leak,
shedding must be worth it,
writing alone is not enough,
reading, doing is key.
she is coming;
pain by pain,
she is grieving.
If the powers are listening,
she isn’t sitting, or watching,
or nagging, or quarrelling,
rather; she is coming.

You’ve been slitting throats,
killing, burying hopes,
but if she has to die,
she won’t die fidgeting
nor will she die a coward.
This marks the beginning
of the courage that you fear,
this lightning will strike,
you will hear. you will see.
