If I were 10
I would be quick to mischief
Linger longer by the TV
Dream of rocks and science projects
Know which sitcom should come next
Watch my “I can” series and sing along
Read in the kitchen and ignore cooking lessons
Have a faceoff with kids in the next  “Anguwa”
Climb trees and take strolls by the streams
Watch the sunset and wonder about high school
Play Monkey Post and get whacked
Borrow cartridges and play games
I would dance without music
Listen for my dad’s car and know when to be indoors
But this card has been dealt three times over.
