If i were ten

I will play in the rain,
I will remove my trouser and run outside naked.
I will play football with kids outside,
I will not wash my clothes
neither will I wash my legs before I sleep.
If I were ten again,
I will fall in love with Aunty Janice
and will not hesitate to collect candy from her.
Whenever the night comes,
I will be scared of the dark.
I will watch Super Book on Sunday
as I yearn for mummy’s rice that takes hours to be done.
I will be the Red Lion after watching the cartoon Voltron.
I will be the one who tell the tales of Tales by Moonlight on Mondays in school.
If I were ten again,
I will choose to be a priest when I grow,
but I am not 10
and that makes me sad.
