How much i put in

Elated and in high spirits
for the first time Aunty B
captains the war ship
carrying the future
to safety.
Spicing an ocean of poets
is an insufferable act
that leads to a tsunami
that never tends to calm.
I have learned to dance
inside of poems
and to laugh as
I dance along the lines
that create the music,
that I have read this week.
