Lessons religion should learn

Guard your child’s heart
to choose for themselves
which God they will serve.
Anything that works for your good
can be named and worshiped–
ask Moses and Aaron; what worked
for them has been working for them
and has refused to work for us.
There are burning bushes everywhere,
for those who seek to find.

Stop dividing, stop dividing,
stop causing more harm than good,
hold your peace, hold your peace,
hold your doctrines, those will kill.
teach your children, teach your kids,
teach them love for all that breathes.
All these chaos, all this bedlam,
can be conquered if we didn’t forcefully put our gods to go to war.
