Take sorrow’s hand

sorrow is life; life is so, row
row your boat from the shore
paddle with your conscience
the water is calm from the start
but storms will play their part
tears will meet their origin – water
your pretty eyes will bother
the wind may blow your belief
your boat will capsize
not once, not twice
that is when you learn to live
that is when you learn to die
and if you choose to live
or life chooses you to stay
for those you love
and everyone that loves you
death is still a part of the victory you will share
your eyes will leak and your heart will break
