Where we call home

Where we’ve chosen to sit
Is where we rightly fit, it’s home,
As long as we don’t roam,
Gradually like Rome, we’ll stake
Our voices not to break,
Give what we want to take and slate
Love in our hearts, not hate,
Lose and resign to fate; then win
And mark it with a sin
Until we are akin, like air
