when we wear souls on lifeless things
they come alive
they begin to behave like living things:
they see
they retain
they record
they replay
they remember.
it’s one million eyes on one face.
but if you set the reset
adjust the screen
retrieve the souls
they are blind
they do not retain
they do nothing
they become only lenses
and trapped circuits.
no ego
no balls
no pride
just an attempt by us
to replicate souls that can never be humans.
