Super Muri Quod Rimas

On a wall that cracks are debris from before
a slice of cement that molds your heart.
On a wall that cracks are hideous signs
to teach you about pain and laughter
so you tell the history of this disc.
On a wall that cracks are handwriting
wielded with worthy wrecking won as wreaths
so you know, taste and embody a love.
On a wall that cracks will you find brick
hidden in the mortar of blessings,
songs learnt from incomplete pipers.
On a wall that cracks will the last word stand
embedded in forgiveness and retribution
from purgatory to Hades to the priest from the North.
On a wall that cracks are blitz poems
so what wall cracks yours?
