Something Nobody Knows
With faith I choose to have faith in the world
I have fears, more fears than a bottle of coke can carry
But to many around me, I’m the most confident
So I’m expected to suffer a lot for people
Ola would understand,
I was actually bullied a lot in primary school
Planks on head, errands and silly jokes
Were all thrown at me
But they all stopped in JSS 1
I employed my fist and a little guts
I wasn’t afraid of size
More guts, more glory
I was head and tail of every wrong act
Sometimes I doubt my own self
Because I think I’m just pushing myself.

A lot more can be thrown at you
More planks, accusations, mockery
Fear is the mother of morality
Morality, sometimes the mother of being trampled upon
For guts and glory
And for the coin you have been for years
To be head and tail and round in a square world
Do not suffer for the wrong people
Or the right people
Maybe do not suffer at all
Coke bottles are sometimes lenses
To help you see through your fears
And break them from the root
But this doesn’t mean the suffering will end
Be of good faith.
