How Cats Fly

I know cats have the purest hearts,
they lick and purr and cuddle you
and share secrets of flawless hue.
They are masters in loving arts.

But I cannot share
with strangers
the secret
that makes
cats fly
when they love.

the morning star has stopped being blue,
who should be blamed for darkened parts,
it’s not a cat’s thought to hurt barts
and bards and anyone plus you.

their intention is to
show you love
in the way
that God has shown;
love that is pure
and winged with happiness.
