My Kind of Freedom

Step on my foot and don’t say sorry.
Then you’d watch how easy it is
For me to lift up a lorry.
Push me to the wall,
And to me you then say stupid.
Even God won’t rescue when you call.
Dash me a slap and see.
I swear, you’d lose all your teeth.
That’s if you’ll still get a chance to breathe.
Be you young or old, a coward or bold.
I don’t care when my heart grows cold.
When my head’s hot,
It boils till I go nut.
Everyone feared.
Mama said it was an evil spirit.
Some said the movies should get the merit.
Others said she’d grow out it.
But for me I never knew if
It was me, the spirit or the movies
I just how know to
Pick a knife, break green bottles
Raise a rod and aim it at you
Then God met me on my knees
It’s been one year since I was free
