Dreams we awake with

Fiji/Viti/Feegee
an archipelago of more than 300 islands
but crime does not forsake Suva
inside is a paradise
outside is where beauty lurks
and the night at night isn’t all a nightmare
a place where learning is a birthright
and Christians would war
only to protect the Hindus and Catholics
the water in the kava is its medicine
for want of love and adventure
my father see its palm-lined beaches
For sugar, garments, timber and gold
Viti i would gladly visit
