Just because I’m from Pankshin
Doesn’t mean I’m Ngas
Doesn’t mean I eat dog meat
And doesn’t mean I’m a traditionalist.
Just because I keep a cat
Doesn’t mean there are rats in my house
Doesn’t mean I’m in a secret society
Doesn’t mean I’m weird.
Just because I like poetry
Doesn’t mean I’m in love
Doesn’t mean I am sad
Doesn’t mean I am broken hearted.
Just because how I feel is seldom known
Does it mean I have too many secrets?
Am I ready for the things to come?
Will I be remembered after I’m gone?
One is either virtuous or vicious- no fences.
