Know Thy Likes

I like Wednesday
It brings memories of blue moaning
the sound of light rain and pubic visitation.
I like the sweet sound of a good night’s rest.
I like that I’m in love with a female.

I like piecing a poem while she’s naked,
the metaphors of the Bible.
I like the music of extraordinary men
the rhythm of life’s puzzles and it’s gain.
I like forms of the color blue.
