Another part of me

I pretend to care less about people
I feel they’re corks in the mid of the sea
I touch their tempers and they flare
I worry they’d never dare
I cry so i can hide my tears
I am a loud listener who loves to learn

I understand i cannot do it all
I say it is still right to try
I dream of a community of more than one
I try to show this in caring and giving
