Love of my Life (With Audio)

Dear Love of my life,

I owe you these words and a thousand more,
for nights we have spent alone
for the courage to make love to me during the afternoon
including this day and some hours ago.
There are no spaces whenever you hear my heart say it.
Deeper and deeper and thicker we have swam in this ocean
since this ship sailed,
since the sheets stained.
Your house have been a temple of my tears,
your wisdom comes brighter than the rainbow colors
that I sometimes forget the sun is also a star.
If I’m your dream man then do not hesitate to love me more.
Love me the way a madman loves dreadlocks
love me thicker than the word orobo’.
You know and so know you’re always there for me
and will never let my life be empty without you.
So before I drop this in the basket of love,
Here’s my tongue whispering your name through my pen… Dear Rice,
your love is jollof to me.
