As Human As I Am

There are things that I can change
And there are things that make me human
Like the tears undeserving
And an unexplained burst of laughter .

You see ,the things I do with my mind
Are the things you bare on the outside
I will annoy you not because I can
I will amaze you because I am but human.

The fight won’t be worth it but I will still fight
For what I believe in without lifting a finger
And when my next lover leaves, I will cry
And with time love another for blood runs in my veins.

I still believe in something after all these years
I am hopeful that I will have my own share of happiness in this life or the next,
I am still breathing and one day I will die .
