Death Note

The executioner loves music.
His maestro’s play on veins,
At one slide, the first note is a scream
How to know if his music inspires?
You’d find blood, tears and broken dreams.
The notes bear all my short comings,
The times I sang the wrong pitch when I served the king,
The times when my Do Re Mi was against the rules,
And I have to die for the music to be heard.
Its sound should not bring pain,
Its melodies should make you comfy in the rain.
If I die today, name my grave a music box
For I will be singing as long as songs exist.
Tilt my head, play the first note,
And let my hovering soul do the rest.
